Spring Supper Club
**Edit: Due to a cold, I’ve rescheduled this supper club for Friday, April 11th. I’m looking forward to there being more Spring things around that time to color our menu with. Any bookings reserved from here on out will be for Friday, April 11th!
Though the weather doesn’t yet reflect it, we are in the earliest days of Spring and soon, we’ll have cherry and plum blossoms blooming along our side walks and an explosion of produce at the farmers markets.
I sort of enjoy this sleepy time between the end of Lunar New Year celebrations and the onset of Spring. It’s like watching nature emerge from its slumber.
There is an uneasy charm when it comes to transitions. This month’s supper club will reflect the fleeting bounty of cold weather crops, and feature light classics like the lu ruo fan, which conjures memories of meals enjoyed on stools in the open street on a sunny day.
We’re going back to the classics with this month’s supper club and making the LU RUO FAN our star. The proposed menu is tentative and subject to change based on… NATURE… and what’s available at the farmers market.
Some dishes on this menu will be served family style, and seats are limited. Reservations are required.
